A car from each decade - what would you choose?
Pointless post time ...
![]() I was wondering the other day, if someone said I could have any car I liked but the restriction was I could only choose one car from each decade, what would I have? For the 90s it'd have to be the McLaren F1. The 60s is already difficult because I'd have to pick between an AC Cobra or an E-type. What would you choose? Cheers, Kingsley.

50's MGA
60's in Great Britain has to be the E type. 70's Lotus Esprit (iconic vision of it in The Spy who loved me) 80's Countach, right up there with that girl with the itchy arse. 90's errr the GTR lol, na although ugly it has to be the McLaren F1 I suppose 00's Murchialago for me - in lime green lol

50s - Lotus Elite - easy choice, only the d type and Citroen DS get close
60s - Ford GT40 - much harder lots of other nice stuff 70s - Lancia Stratos - fairly easy choice 80s - 205 t16 - very hard choice, BNR32, 959, 288GTO etc are all in there 90s - eb 110 - hard choice 00s - Gallardo - stunning 10s - dunno yet! From the look of it it's either supercars or rally cars really...

I worshipped the GT40 as a kid, it is an awesome car, though I didn't have it on my shortlist here because I already had the McLaren F1 on there and I thought they were too similar.
60s - still stuck between AC Cobra 427 or E-type 70s - muscle car (from the very early 70s before the oil crisis and emissions regs ruined them) 80s - stuck between an 80s V8 Vantage or a 959 90s - McLaren F1 00s - F458 Spyder (can't remember when it came out - maybe the F430 Spyder if the 458 was after 2009) Cheers, Kingsley.
