i know most ppl do custom canards set up for their cars.
i want this to be a data base for someone to get inspiration from for their own set up specifically on SKYLINES !!!

i'll start off with my FAV set of canards

O my word that R32 looks awesome does make me want a big wing on mine but think they're a bit much for a road car.

Depending on which type you fit, I use 10mm bolts to hold bracket to bumper and coachbolts or pop rivets with large washer to secure canards to brackets.

On a 33 it has to be the garage defend canards, tried AS but doubt they'd pass an MOT...

Anybody know if you can fit canards to a r34 nismo r-tune bumper? I'm not sure where'd they'd go in relation to the vents on the side

Alot of the nice "good" looking canards are custom trimmed.... They are not really off the shelve bolt on items
Like the once on the red wackymate's car..... Those are originally "first molding's" large canards on the bottom and small canards on top, I bought the exact set up then I realized to make it exactly like the wackymates car there was excessive trimming involve..... How ever 8hrs of trimming and testing I was able to make it pretty close to the one on his car.

Mine are mounted with "press-in thread" or whatever you could call them.
You drill a small hole in the bumper and then you put a threaded 10mm long "pipe" and then when you tighten it, it squeezes together like a rivet, i think it's called.
Popnit på svenska.

Look at the side of my front bumper. There are 2 small white spots.
Those are my fittings.

And then here they are fitted

Ive just purchased some mines replica's for mine with the same bumper and unfortunately without extensive shaping they wont fit :-(
Are they actually road legal? MOT friendly?

^^ That last 34 looks pretty sweet, a white/carbon combination can't be beat in my opinion. Personally the only canards that i think look good on a skyline are the Garage Defend ones on a 400R bumper. Everything else just looks unnatural...
