It's not available yet.

We are waiting patiently.

All we have to go on is excellent feedback from the test car.

In the meantime, I will be selling my stock 2011 suspension, if anyone is interested.

I have put it in the for sale forum.

I have decided I would like £1800 for it. (half the price of what I'll be replacing it with)

It will be available at Litchfields once removed from my car, so you could book in and go there to have it fitted.

I Havn`t had it installed but i have been a passenger in Iain`s car moments after being a passenger in mine as he did a live tune,so the comparison between my standard and the upgraded suspension was immediate and on the same route..So to answer your how much difference does it make?.. quite simply,a lot!..My car felt jumpy and somewhat unsettled on these particular surfaces,in comparison Iain`s car was very noticeably more composed, what felt like unsettling jolts and bumps in mine became gentle nudges.Hardly a scientific description i know but all the same the set up really works.Even when Iain changed to race mode i would say the ride and composure was still more comfortable and effectively damped when spiritedly driven than mine in comfort!..In a nutshell my suspension-wooden,Iain`s-Fluid.Got me name on the list.

Good point Anders..i should have mentioned,i`m an `09,so the difference will of course be marked in comparison to the later cars more refined oem suspension, however i`m running yoko`s so my comparison was made with the additional degree of compliance afforded by the non runflats ,and Iain`s suspension was still clearly a good deal more refined..From my memory of driving and being passenger in several MY11`s i think there will still be a marked improvement.

I would be interested in the relative advantage oof the suspension changes between 09 - 10 , 10-11, and 11 - Litchfield.

09 crashy skittish
10 crashy and skittish but less so
11 step change up in compliance, less skittish (possibly due to tyres change), still very hard by normal car standard
12 as above but "tuned" for weight in driver's seat
Litchfield - unreviewed as yet but given R&D, we have high hopes.

Thanks Adamantium, what was the change of tires between 10 and 11 ? Weren't they both on Dunlop Run Flats ?

Today I sent off the door parts to be carbonned like the gearlever surround finisher.

Blade mentioned that he also wanted that same gear surround done in carbon so, since I have to wait for the door parts anyway, I thought I might as well get them all done in one go.

So I gave him the completed one and sent off his to be carbonned along with the door parts above.

Must say the results of how it looks in the car are fantastic.

Big thanks to JM Carbon for the work they have had done and thanks to David Yu for putting me on to them.

If Nick Arnold is working as an instructor on that day say hello to him from me and let him know I have my GT-R now. ( I work as an ARDS instructor for The Racing School and Nick used to work with me at Rockingham but he mainly works at the Porsche Centre at Silverstone these days)
