Car was in denmark for a couple of years... the owner got a crazy audio system build in the car.. all build up in carbonfiber... don´t know if it is still in the car, but custom made for R34.

Regardless, its a lot of dosh for a 10 year old car with many owners and much abuse. Noone is doubting how nice a car it is though....

That Step 3 stroker is not easy to get today, the gearbox is pretty damn expensive, audio system built in carbon fibre (as someone said) is not cheap and being a Nur the price goes even higher.

I think its pretty damn cheap

Hi everyone just wanted to explain one or two things as the car is mine.
The only reason its up for sale is i have been made redundant, if i find work quickly
enough i will take it back off and keep it as ive only had it 18months.

the history off the car is as you all know Tim's old nur which then got sold buy
jm-imports to christian frost in denmark. He owned it for four years and made it a show car with a massive sound system. He then sold it back to Jurgen who then put the rear seats back in plus other bits and bobs.
I then brought the car off Jurgen and after two months of owning it took it to mark at Abbey to be mapped as the map that christian had wasnt good. After 5mins with Mark having a look he tells me that the bearing in the turbo was shot and my manifold was cracked. Mark sorted this and then mapped it only to find that a big end bearing had started to fail. Thats why it has had an engine rebuild and turbo rebuild less then 4000miles ago.
some of you have said the car is not worth that sort of money but if you read it it says 45000 ono. which i think isnt bad for a car that if mapped on race fuel and the nos bottle re-installed and set up this car would still do a High 9sec 1/4 mile run.
the car is running 600bhp at the wheels at 1.5 bars of boost on 97ron

Hey mate!

Do you have pictures of the audio system? Sounds very interesting since I´m looking for inspiration for my own R34

Guys , actual problem wasn't actually a big end bearing failing like we thought , upon stripping the motor which was built nearly 10 years ago , we found a piston that had been cold seized, the bearing's were all good.

Jason , dont sell it unless you have to, such an awesome car so much history.

Personally i'd say its worth every penny. As said above its a very special R34 and to be special in comparison to a standard R34 then £40,000 is good money. Wasn't that HKS R34 up for like £100,000 or more, I know it had 1200hp but this aint no slouch.
