Should I sell my pfc and get a link g4?

Been doing some thinking about tuning my r32gtr.
I currently have a pfc with the maf's etc on standard turbos/engine.
I am having some boost control issues, my blitz boost controller was knackered, I've bought an AVCR but before I fit it, is it worth getting rid of he powerfc/maf's/boost controller and going for a link g4 ecu instead?

I can obviously sell on the avcr and powerfc to offset some of the cost of buying the link.

I've been reading up a bit and it seems the way people are going, but am I really going to notice the difference?

Depends on what your doing with the car... for the road a PFC is more than enough and despite being older tech can still cut the mustard.
No point in changing ECU just for the hell of it IMHO.

TT

If you have it and it is working I would not bother tbh, I would only change it if I was having issues with it or was planning on upgrading the engine where you need that extra control.

Mainly street driven, with the odd track day/drag strip thrown in.
I've got plans to up the power this year hopefully, which means uprated maf's/injectors/turbos/clutch all of which I have already.
The link would mean losing the maf's and boost control kit, just run it all from the one box and future proof myself for when the inevitable quest for big power kicks in lol

The link G4 is the way to go way better than most of them we have 4 in stock and we can map for you if you want

Regards Mark

P.S You will notice the difference big time

I swap the power pc for the link and never look back it is a better ECU by a long long way compare to the power FC.

How much are the links mark? I'm getting sick of waiting for my car to be mapped, I'm already waiting 8 weeks and he still hasn't even taken it in, I've waited for 2 years to get my car back driving so this is wrecking my head, I currently have a power fc and I bought z32 afm's for it but I might be swayed towards the link depending on price, I'm strongly thinking of trailering the car over to the uk to get it mapped. I was told by my mechanic that the tuner wouldn't push it to max hp either because he didn't build the engine so he'd want it putting out less than one he'd built to the same spec

How much is a second hand power fc and hand controller worth? It's for an r34...

A power fc is fine if it's mapped properly it's all in the mapping it's just basic by today's standards but it does have knock monitoring/ warning as standard and you don't run wasted spark etc with the pfc which you do with the Plugin link

The Link's are quite a bit more expensive than the powerfc, I think the plugin is around £1150ish.
