Your just about to open up a big can of worms

Search function mate, been covered and discussed to length. And it can be pretty confusing, it all comes down to what you want

+1, but while I'm here I would go Ecutek. Reason - it has worked for me!

Yeah your not allowed to ask a question on here. Wonder why the forum exists. I have a Cobb with a Gtc tune. It's awesome.

I have had both, Cobb on the 09 car and Ecutek on the 11 car.

It is down to personal preferences, the people, the service etc.

Both are fantastic, and it is like asking whether you prefer red or blue!

Sorry about giving you no help at all, but you must read ALL the threads and form your own opinion.

Bear in ind that you can sell the Cobb on when finished with it. Also very user friendly with switchable maps on the fly.

You get free updates on gearbox software with EcuTek as well , just need a EcuTek tuner to upload the new map;

We have 3 systems that allow us to tune the R35GTR , all do a good job , but all different as too speak.

I think it comes down to who will do the mapping. Personally I was miles from a Cobb mapper which was annoying. I am rather close to RyanG (ecutek mapper) and he is very good. He mapped my car yesterday, very impressed!!

Obviously one of the good things about a Cobb is that you don't need to be anywhere near a tuner to have your car custom mapped. As you can easily apply (and remove) the maps yourself the actual tuning can be done live or offline.
Ideal for those located many miles away from a recognised GT-R tuner.

Cobb also has logging, timing, error code reading and a lot of choice for TCM mapping.

Enough functional differences between the two to make a good choice based on your own requirements.
