I don't think many people bother with the Eco map!!
You switch maps by holding cancel on the steering wheel for a couple of seconds. Boost is adjusted with the cruise control up/down. I tend to leave mine in race map, full boost. If on a long journey I may knock it into eco and turn the boost down.High 20's/30ish doing this at a steady speed

Just two settings for boost mate. Nominally 1 bar and 1.2 bar

Lichfields stages 1 or 2 maps do state that it will improve the fuel consumption but they don't lie and do state that don't expect a massive change and in all fairness it does improve slightly but when you've had the power upgrade I don't think the fuel consumption will be on your mind the power difference will wipe out any thoughts of economy, I had mine done last week to a stage 2 and boy it's quick compared to standard what I would strongly advise is the gearbox software upgrade that will help the fuel economy deffinatley as the gears don't seem to change from 1st to 2nd so quick as with the standard software. Speak to Iain he's a great honest chappy who will advise you rite and give good value for your dosh buddy, hope this helps

And also to add Iain always under quotes the BHP increase figure because he believes it's better to state slightly under so when you dyno the car yourl be pleasantly supprised rather than disapointed, as they say BHP turns heads but TORQUE turns wheels and that's really see the difference, the torque feels amazing

I'm not sure if it applies to all years, but my car (MY11 with EcuTek) has race and road map and then an additional throttle map activated by pressing the 'Save' mode on the transmission switch.
With save mode activated the car's trottle is less responsive, so a 25% press with foot might only activate the at approx 12.5%. On the motorway the effect is that your turbos don't spool up as much on an overtake for example - the boost can stay negative pressure in stead of rising to 5 psi for example.

You can switch maps and adjust boost on the fly. Obviously you can't adjust boost whilst cruise control is ON!!

My Ecutek Boost adjustment is from 0.5 to 1.2 in sections not just the 2 settings. To be honest you only need the full monty all the time. And the Fuel consumption is down by about 3 mpg on average on mine.

Mine has the eco map too, but I've never used it.
Why on earth would you buy a GT-R then drive around in ECO mode to save 1 or 2 mpg? I want to be ready in case I need to use the power. ![]()
