Probably had an AV failure and fixed under warranty and since non-nav units wont be produced anymore, he would have had a nav unit fitted instead.

I have replied to other threads on this explaining that it is not a simple swap over of a couple of components. It would require a complete replacement of the AV system, screen, and several parts of the wring loom inside the dashboard.

That is why a replacement has been quoted at £9k from HPCs. As with all things anything is possible, but would you honestly spend that sort of money to add functionality that an iphone and dension fm modulator link can give you for a couple of hundred quid.

My 09 is non-nav, but I have iphone music, satnav (copilot 8), camera alerts, all through my speakers with decent clarity.

Worked very well for me for 3 years.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

That particular garage have another 2010 gtr for sale which i enquired about , they said the spec included high definition led lights had been put in the car on all interior lighting ? had not heard or seen that as an option either ? car looks lovely though only 4000 miles and very well looked after, competitively priced !

High definition led lights??!!

Never heard of any type of bulb being described as HD before....

Seriously. It just means someone has swapped the interior incandescant bulbs for LED ones. Not an option, just what some folks do and certainly not a selling point.

Whatever next?

High definition air freshener??

Got to agree with Andy there (Charles), complete marketing hype to try to distinguish the car. LED wedge can e bought for £10 the lot. Hardly a selling point.

Retrofitted sat nav is kewl. If I as an 09 I'd be doing it straight away but on the cheap with careful planning. Even at say £3k it's a bit if a stupid move, but lots of fun!

Why is it £40k? Dreaming a bit. It's one of the £54k cars isn't it?

Why is it dreaming?

09s hold their money well. Often 36 to 38 condition and mileage dependent. Mileage s good, strong colour, and with sat nav should be compatable to 59 plates. It's under offer, and therefore presumably attracted enough attention to get a reasonable deal going.
