We are advertising this car on behalf of a customer who has spent approximately £25,000 on the car over the years he has owned it and probably only driven it about 1,000 miles!
The car was imported from Japan in 2005 by Torque Imports in Devon. Paul Inch from Plymouth then built the engine & Alan Jefferys of Plymouth mapped it.
The following information should help to give an idea about the amount of money which has been spent on this car during the time that the current owner has had it:
In 2007 the car had replaced 24 valve guides, 5 exhaust valves. 5 inlet valves due to suspect valve fault which meant poor running, at the same time the car had a new radiator, thermostat, battery, the head set was Tomei, the guides were HKS and this bill totaled £1,198. De cat pipe, down pipe gaskets and apexi PFC & commander supplied by abbey motorsport ltd for a cost of £543.95. Brake pads and mapping were done by Engine Tuner LTD at a price of 640.80 on the 10/3/2012. In November 2012 Alan Jeffery, engine tuner ltd, new mafs fitted, second hand coils, a terminal, bulbs, gear oil mot test, total bill of £1691.67. Another bill from engine tuner ltd for mapping and ignition amplifier. Totalling £423.08. O2 sensor fitted in 2006, brand new from Import Car Parts. In 2007 the car was checked over and had service parts vacuum pipes, wiring tidy up diagnostic test, power test and some mapping totalling £966.37 at AP Motors Ltd.
In 2009 jdm garage supplied blitz injectors 660cc and a momo steering wheel totalling £575. In 2010 JDM Garage supplied an R32 GTR front diff, costing £173.31
In 2010 Jap imports supplied n1 oil pump, cosworth head gasket, rb26 full engine gasket kit. Totalling £833.84. Knight motor services supplied a massive list of parts, service parts, gaskets, boots o2 sensor battery and so on, totalling £1333.35. Turbo fitted, purchased from BM motor bodies costing £1400 in 2009.
The car has recently come back from Dyno Tuner, where it was mapped to roughly 580bhp. We do have the print out to confirm the exact power rating.
As you can tell from the above information the car has been well looked after by the current owner with no expense spared. His reason for sale is simply because he is getting married & needs to sell the car to pay for the wedding!
