Mark.
It fits straight on but it can cause problems with the hicas so it's better if the hicas is removed.
If i am correct there is a sensor for the hicas in the steering wheel and because the two cars have different dimensions it can up set the hicas

I'm not sure that fitting an R34 steering wheel and removing Hicas to do so is a purist move but fully appreciate many owners would prefer it that way.

Thanks for the info re the steering wheel, I'll look into it...

Currently running gtss, hks cams, link g4 ecu, tomie ti exhaust, injectors and fuel pump....you get my drift.

485@1.1 bar, but drives soooo well because of the link ecu and abbey mapping..I ****in love it!

I keep looking at this nice motor and want to know more.

The superb wheels look very light and have the correct offset. Do you know the weight?

Also what suspension is fitted?

The wheels are advan racing rs 19/9 with a 22 offset. Rubbing tyres, sticking out wheels and general wrong offset is a real bug bear for me, as it can ruin the overall look of the car. With the help from Scott at abbey, we managed to nail the fit, so I'm very happy. Re wheel weight, I'm afraid I don't know...about the same as the te37's I took off..?

The suspension is a BC coil over set up, with adjustable damping via a dia on top of the shocks. Abbey made a nice modification to the parcel shelf so the adjusters could poke through for easy adjustment. This is a very comfortable road set up, which makes the car very compliant. Not the most expensive coilover suspension, but defo good value.

Agree with all of that and does nothing for handling, stone chips, etc.

ET22 on 9.0" width seems a well engineered choice.

Never seen a Series 3 in Super Clear Red before, looks fabulous in that colour, especially with those perfectly matching rims.
