The guy next door to me has one on his Seat Arosa. It looks abysmal.
I think it is one of the car modding things, where you can buy it with your part time job money, and buy another £50-£100 part later, and then another. Basically playing with cars for those who can't afford to spend a lot up front. Unfortunately with the friends into the same things, and forums devoted to it, it is a massive circlejerk, and nobody points out the emperor is wearing no clothes i.e. the car looks crap.

Agree with Boyband6666, many cheap "ripspeed" mods is not a good look! goes down next to LED windscreen washers for me!
most definitely a dubscene thing originally, seen so many fiestas with them now though. why would you want to cover the beautiful front lines of an R33 for example?!
