Froggie @ SVM - "Baby Hulk" project

At first I would like to apologize for my English as I am French.

Because I don't have enough posts, I can not insert pics ; if you agree, it will be SVM who will complete my thread.

Anyway, I would like to thank Amar and KK from SVM, Ben from GTC, for all the job they have done to my car, all the time they have spent. These guys are just exceptional.

I would like to take the opportunity of this thread to introduce myself.

My name is Thierry, and I am 39. Things you need to know when you will see my car's pics, specially the steering wheel, you will notice some driving assistance (throttle and brake) : it is because I am paraplegic (in a wheelchair) since August 2002. I got a road accident, as I was on my bike (Yamaha R6), a police car has made a U turn in front of me, and just ran over me...

Anyway, this is life and life is beautiful.

For your information, in the French owner club, we are 4 members in wheelchair

Now, my car. I bought in May 2010 a 2009 Black Edition in pearl white, which I tuned a little :

Outside & Inside :

- Paint in pearl white, front/rear lips + side skirt
- Paint in shiny black on the wing
- Paint in shiny black on the rear bumper
- Zele 4 tail light kit
- Nismo day lights
- Take off the emblem on the boot (Nissan) and on the rear bumper (GTR)
- Tinted windows
- Front/rear camera
- 6 points harness
- Leds bulb everywhere possible...
- Steering wheel in leather back
- Inside carbon : steering wheel switch plate, shift lever cover, switch panel,
- ADV1 rims, style ADV10 TrackSpec, lip in shiny black, face in pearl white, titanium fasteners, titanium center caps, spoke pocketing, Front 21x9.5, Rear 21x11
- Tires : Michelin Pilot Super Sport, Front 265x30x21, Rear 295x25x21

Upgrades done in France :

- Cobb stage 2 + switching map + NIS006 + LC5
- HKS Suction Kit
- Downpipes GTC
- Y-pipe Agency Power
- Catback with valves Agency Power
- Intercooler HKS
- Intercooler pipes HKS
- Water cooler
- Carbon Intake pipes + KN
- Carbon IC pipes
- Alcon 380 mm
- Pads Carbonétic Spec-R
- Brake lines HKS
- Brake fluid Endless
- Spark plug HKS
- Thermal Guard Composite Intake Manifold Gasket Cosworth
- Dump Valve GFB
- Adjustable Sway Bar front/rear Whiteline
- Adjustable endlinks Whiteline
- Transmission oil cooler HKS
- Honeycomb Transmission Oil Pan HKS
- Gearbox oil HKS
- Fuel pumps HKS
- Injectos 1000cc Injector dynamics

BUT, in march 2012, I broke my engine on a track which had only 24 000 Kms in 2 years. So I have decided to go to one of the best European R35 tuner : SVM who did :

SVM Upgrades 850R+ :

- New blue print engine
- Forged pistons
- Forged rods
- Nissan piston rings
- Nissan neax bearing set
- 2nd Key Way for Woodruff key in crank
- Total harmonic balancing of rods/pistons/crank
- New crank pulley
- SVM big valve heads
- 5 angle CNC cutting
- Ported and polished
- 280' camshafts
- Ferrara 1mm oversize valves
- Titanium springs & retainers
- Ported valley
- Stage 3 turbo charger's inc. larger compressor pipes
- ID1000cc injectors
- Walbro 400 Lph fuel pumps
- Coloured timing chain cover
- Coloured rocker cover
- K&N Hi-flow air filters
- GTC custom map
- GTC cast downpipes & heat wrapping
- SVM blow of valves
- SVM bumper intake system
- Mechanical gearbox cir-clip inc. set-up and oil change
- 14 plate clutch
- Angel eye conversion
- Dixcel brakes + pads A front/rear
- OS Giken Rear differential
- Ultraracing front/mid under braces
- KW springs
- Bar & plate intercooler
- IC pipes 80mm
- Intake pipes 80mm

I would like to thank :

- SVM which collects my car in France and delivers it back to me
- Amar from SVM who offers me engine oil, oil filter and differential oil for free
- KK for driving
- Ben for the maps

In 1 month, my new engine already has almost 5 000 Kms.

Now, you will have to wait for the pics

Sorry for the size of my thread, but I love my car. You are a wonderful community with some nice guys as Geetak Balla who I met at the Michelin 2012 meeting.

Thanks for reading

Thierry

As he's clearly a legit owner, would there be a problem in him emailing an existing member, e.g. me, with the links to his pics and me posting them up for him?

Rip on David, I'm sure people want to see photos, so no objections at all.
