TOTB - some very good GTR results

Just some great results from TOTB for all the GTR's but was very impressed with John Hanton getting to 208.2mph in a standing km! :smoking: Gutted I missed it this year, bloody holidays getting in the way

Would love to see his spec

Nice to see Nissans millions and millions of pounds spent trying to create a seperate "GT-R" brand have paid off. Pmsl

The commentator announcing the 35s as Skylines all day didn't help haha.

So Jurgen what was happening? The launch looked a bit off, but once rolling... Jesus that thing was moving!

i got the best launch over weekend 1.31 60ft ;-),

(new world record unless america does not approve)

i will update my JUN thread in due time, but my best was 9.59, best terminal 157.

for the top speed i just did an easy run to get team points ( i kinda bottled the top speed - i had to drive home lol ) was avoiding it all day till rog350z said we need you just over 180 to get us the team points.

had a great weekend, jeff and all GTROC crew all top guys.

SVM cars did great again (those things can move)..

Just got back from York. Long drive shattered.

But couldn't have asked for much more. Both Francis & John Hanton ran well with no issues / breakages

Although i think outside of the qualifying time John also did a 9.39 @ 160 and F-man a 9.47 @ 157mph.

with the icing being John's 208mph to take top speed 1st place. i'll leave to amar to explain if he wants to, but like i said in previous thread you couldn't make it up what svm team went though to get this GT-R even running after two faulty turbo's, first log i even got was on the saturday morning and dialled in at event. He was running basic gearbox mods of clips and gtc 8 plate clutch which didn't miss a beat, neither did his forged 3.8

GTROC won 2nd place overall beating the MLR. This is a BIG step forward and holds potential for next year.

Well done to all involved. Nice to see everyone

Andy Forrest Scooby was untouchable all rounder
