Dodson magnet kit and GR6 sump clean
Hi Guys
Just wondering has anyone fitted the Dodson magnet kit for the transmission pan and diff plugs, also have many guys opted to have the sump dropped and cleaned when getting gr6 oil changed? I'm due my big 36mth service shortly and I'm thinking of asking to have it done at the same time if it doesn't cost too much! Just wondering if anyone has been surprised at the amount of debris inside on the magnets and if it's worth while dropping the valve chest and cleaning the pistons as a precaution too, I've also noticed the shift caps for the pistons are only $25 maybe worth throwing on at same time? Or am I loosing the run of myself like I usually do?

i just had a quote form my HP for the gearbox and diff oils change - over a grand!!!
they did however offer me a choice of nissan oil or pentosin ffl which i found amusing...

15K miles should be changed for this first gearbox oil change. And clean magnets.
