Exhaust manifold issue

i'm starting to hear a sound clearly coming from the exhaust manifold, I think the rear one... Is it possible that it has broken or it's maybe just a loosened nut?

If its a stock manifold there is every chance its just loose or the studs broke or gasket blown.

Either way its going to have to come off really, If you cant find the cause on stripping it then look for cracks.

Hi mate

Most of the time, it is either the Exhaust manifold gaskets or the turbo to manifold gasket that has gone. You may be lucky if it is the nuts that have came loose, but, if, as is most likely, it has blown the gasket out now, this will mean you will have to take both of the turbos off to put new gaskets on. Hope this is of help to you.

Regards Mark

I would recommend taking it off,and having it skimmed before replacing all the studs broken or not.the heat makes the studs brittle and the manifolds warp over time but once its skimmed it will be good.

Am I forced to take off turbos to take off manifolds? If yes I'm planning on changing them, maybe the new tomei kits
What do you guys say? I would like to reach 550 now I'm 400 on stock turbos. But I don't wanna raise the lag

I found the leak, it should be the gasket between the turbo and the pipe that connects to the downpipe, the rear one, is it possible to take it off almost easily?
