New GT-R owner needs advice

I've just bought a 2005/54 plate and wondered if anyone can tell me what the score is with regards the satnav/tv system being changed from Japanese to English, is it possible etc??
There's only 33 thousand miles on the clock and she's in mint condition. Any other general advice/comments would be appreciated.

Cheers.

54 plate? Are you sure it's a GT-R mate?

No it's a spaceship - did GT-Rs not exist in 2005 or is it you're taking the puss.

No, they didn't exist in 2005 unless you consider the concept car or a Z Tune.

Ah, in that case if it is a spaceship, I suggest you go and ask this guy. Not sure whether he's familiar with satnav systems though

Easy tiger, you're posting in the wrong area for starters and you need to ease off with the attitude. Play nice and you'll get help, rub the regulars up the wrong way and you'll wish you hadn't.

Not with your attitude but I'll bite.

2005 so I am pretty sure it's not the R35 GTR. Biggest possibility is the R34 then. AFAIK you cannot change the sat nav to English unless you change the whole unit.

Edit: Does your car look like this?

You would but Skyline production stopped at 2002 and only started again in 2007 (JDM) with the new GTR. The year you quote is in the middle so you'll understand the apprehension shown. Your first post the other day seemed like it was generated by a bot and then you have repeated the same post 4 times, 3 in another thread!

Maybe a bit of an intro and some background on the car might not go amiss and when you get to 15 posts, you can get some photos up. We are a friendly bunch but don't take kindly to spammers and scammers. If you're genuine, you'll get the help you want.

That's cool. The previous post and tonight's have been sent via HTC phone, bit more hassle, especially finding my way about the site. I even hijacked someone's thread earlier by mistake.

Was looking for general advice not on to mess about.
