what wheels to get?

Im finding it really hard to decide on what wheels to get for my r33 gtr, I have narrowed it down to 3 wheels now and they are

volk racing te37

volk racing ce28n

volk racing re30 clubsport edition.

what does everyone think? I have always really liked the re30 but think they suit a r34 gtr better.

I've read recently (the last 3-4 years) some people saying the Touring Evolution 3.7 Kg are over used, etc., but they are hard to beat. If you do go with them, do yourself a favor and get 5 if you can, otherwise Lord help you if you need 1 in the future. I've seen huge variations in RAYS bronze color, from yellow to super dark and everything in between.

Good question, i'm at the same dilemma.

I'm thinking about some black Volk Racing G2's on my Sonic Silver R33.

I just delivered a set of 18" RE30 Clubsports for a local R33 GTR. I have to say, they look stunning aswell !

TE37 - Touring Evolution in 15 inch, 6.5j size were 3.7kg
CE28 - Competition Expert in 14 inch, 5.5 size were 2.8kg
RE30 - Racing Equipment - 30% stiffer than the CE28s.

Good info, akasaka!

I was thinking "What could be lighter without being smaller?"

Thanks, learn something new every day.

Personally I absolutely adore TE37s, my favourite wheel.

However on an R33 GTR I would at least think about maybe buying CE28s instead as they do suit the car really well judging by a few I've seen.

Either way, quality wheels you've chosen, so all good.

@Akasaka
Just spotted your username and made me think of my trip to Japan 6 weeks ago. Stayed in a hotel in Akasaka. Was really nice there. Tokio is a must see!
