Replaced inlet gaskets. Now car wont idle & no boost ??

OK i have had a boost leak for a wile now So i thought lets get it sorted.
Got new hks gaskets so took inlet off cleaned up the throttle bodys fitted gaskets Put inlet back on now car runds like crap & i must a a vacuum leak as dont get no boost at all.

Ive checked all hoses.
Ive just had the injectores cleaned. one is running 100 cc more then it should be. But i also changed the vacuum thing where the vacuum pipes go at eather end.. the one at the side of rocker cover. that seams to be tight as im getting vacuum from there.

Ive been out there the last 2 days tryin g to find this problem now. and its doing my head in..

Anyone have any ideas what this could be..

Many thanks Ian.

Did car idle ok before you changed out the gaskets?

I see you have checked all hoses so no splits on them.

Possible you have put hoses to the wrong place?

Any sensors still disconnected or anything?

Maybe take a picture around the plenum and throttle bodies to see if someone can spot something that might be wrong or off with pipes connections etc.

Sorry can't be more help mate.

Apart from stating what you already know, you seem to have a leak!

Have you considered removing everything and starting again? To get no boost at all in the plenum means the leak is substantial. Again I'm sure you know all this!

Have you considered water with some detergent in a spray bottle + loads of revs to try and make bubbles and you should hear a change in idle?

Yep tryed that.. no leaks.. If i remove the inlet again will i need new Gaskets again ?? I used carb cleaner just to get the old crap out of em.. just sprayed it on went around em with toothbrush then sprayed again to get the dirt out.. Or could it be the injectores are not in the same place ??

As there is one pushing out 840 where the other five are 744 ???

And should i take the 840 one out and put it in number 6 ??

If it was fine before you started then as a general rule it's something you have done
Did you get the dowels on in the correct order as the ones from the inlet manifold to he bodies are a different size to the ones on the throttle bodies to the plenum maybe you have them round the wrong way and are holding off the manifold slightly at the bottom

when you say you cleaned the throttle bodies with carb cleaner and a tooth brush did you clean the gunk from around the butterflies ( 2 per throttle body ) ?

So what your saying is , the old bits of oil and crit that was stuck on the butterflies in the corners is a good thing to have in there ? As when I was opening & shutting them you could hear crap scraping the butterflies ?? Ok then. I thought they would open & shut more better if they was clean.

Ok well I've been out today & the idle seems to be fine. It's only when I rev it it sounds rough . Whati want to know if. I take the inlet off again will I need new gaskets or can I reuse the new ones I have just put on ?
