Service/workshop manual

I'm sure this topic has been thrashed to death and I have spent two hours or so searching. Does anyone have or know of a service manual for the R35? I had one for my 06 impreza and it was very useful and informative. I've viewed this thread on GTR life R35 GT-R service manuals (PDF) - Service & Maintenance - GT-R Life . I cant make sense of it though.

Thanks

Nothing to it mate, just download the appropriate manual from the link you posted, unzip to a suitable folder then navigate to the GTR-ESM-11-20xx\gt-r directory.
Right click on the index.html file and Open with>Internet Explorer

In Internet Explorer right click on the 'To protect your security, blah, blah' message and Allow Blocked Content, Yes I'm sure I want to run active content. It will spawn another IE window, then do the right click on the 'To protect your security, blah, blah' message and Allow Blocked Content, Yes I'm sure I want to run active content again and you'll be in.
When you're nagged just allow the blocked content to run and it will all work.

I've got the service manual working on the computer. However i cant seem to get to the content. After navigating through the drop down menus to an article i would like to view, for example " Periodical maintenance specification" which is bullet pointed and in blue font. Clicking on it nothing happens, and no information comes up. Thus rendering the ESM dud. I've yet to figure it out yet

These manuals are fully interactive using hyper links embedded.

If your not seeing anything, I would open it with Internet explorer, not Firefox etc. make sure you do not have pop up blockers on, load Java applet, SVG viewer etc.

I have a garage and use workshop manuals from every manufacter, some can be very sensitive to the Windows version and web browser.

All my computers are running XP, service pack 3, and IE8 for this reason.

It must be a "welsh" thing

Struggled like f**k and eventually called someone on here who talked me through it

Not exactly a "nothing to it" type operation but once done then seems to make more sense.

Hope you get sorted.

Have you managed to get the schematics and wiring looms section to work properly ?

I get at the PDFs for the wiring directly by browsing the disc, but not through the menu system, goes to the page and comes up with a blank box ....

The wiring diagrams only seem to work on IE6... I do it in a virtual machine running xp.

Just out of interest, is there a model variation code we can put in for UK spec cars ?
