Do Luck designed a brand new ignition wiring loom for the RB26DETT.

We all know the OEM wiring to the coils. If the wires are old, the connectors break if you try to pull them off the coils, the wires are completely stiff and not flexibel anymore and sometimes the wires even changed colour due to the heat and age!
These wires are the crucial parts which send the signals to the coils before they ignite the sparkplugs. If these signals are not as strong as they should be, it makes your engine run poor or not 100%.
When tuning your car, it's important you make sure all basics are 100% before asking your engine to give 100%.

Do Luck designed a brand new harness for the R32 GTR, R33 GTR and R34 GTR. Using OEM connectors OEM quality connectors and 60% thicker cables for a stronger signal.

Besides the new harness, the kit will come with the direct power supply. A direct connection from the battery + to the coils optimizes the signal and keeps the signal consistant. Of course the kit will come with it's own earthing wire aswell.

Do Luck Japan:

The popular RB26DETT engine ignition system can show weakness when tuning for optimal efficiency.
The Do Luck Iginition harness kit overcomes such weaknesses.

Increased wire thickess for maximum power:
In order to transfer the ignition signal with maximum strength and efficiency, all wires have increased thickness (1.6x thicker) over the stock wiring harness. Particular attention has been paid to power and earth lines for maximum power delivery for the strongest ignition signal. Do-Luck has considered ease of use for tuners too by providing a long ignition signal wire for easy connection of devises such as timing lights.

Individual applications for each model:

Do-Luck makes installation of this harness as easy as possible with sperate kits for R32, R33 and R34 applications. With the correct vehicle kit, no cutting or soldering is required for installation.

Optional direct power harness for further improved ignition strength:

For further ignition signal strengt, Do-Luck recommends the use of this direct power harness. Taking power direct from the battery, the signal can be further strengthened. A thick earth canle supports the increaded power input.

There are 3 kits available, one for every car model.

I have it on my own R33 GTR and my car runs smoother. The main thing is a more stable spark, more consistant. Less chance on misfiring compared to old worn cables.

During mapping it should make a difference aswell, since the ignition is more consistant.

No, these are one of the latest products from Do Luck and will remain available.

Personally, I think everyone should be running these. Sort of the same money as OEM, but thicker. Made from OEM connectors (all brand new of course) so why would you buy OEM if you can get these?

Hey Wouter i have purchased a set of these off you guys. My car is with my tuner at the moment. Only problem we had was there was no wiring instructions with them meaning if connected wrong you can fry your ECU. My tuner did contact your company and received the correct wiring instructions. This is more a heads up just to make sure the wiring diagrams are in the kit. The kit itself looks excellent and you can see the difference in thickness of wires. I would say its a must have and will definitely improve your spark performance as you have a constant power direct from the battery. Very well priced aswell :-D

Hi Euan,

Thanks for the kind words. We do appreciate your feedback.

You were the first in the UK to receive them and by the time we only had them in Japanese, but all new kits will come with English instructions.

To be honest, you can't do it wrong. Check the connectors, one side is male, the other side if female. You basically can not do it wrong ;)

Again, thanks for the heads up!

Wouter

Cheers Euan

Wow, I'm so gonna have to get in on one of these at that price when I get paid next! :chuckle:

My coil pack harness is brittle as hell and I know I'm running on borrowed time before it sh*ts the bed on me. :nervous: Thanks for posting this deal up!

Forgive my ignorance and I apologise for what my be a stupid question but with regards to the direct battery feed on my 33 GTR. :nervous::confused:
The battery is in the boot so I take it the cable is super long and has to go through the engine bay, through the cab and into the boot?
Or do you tap it to the connections in the fuse box to the front left of the engine bay?
