Thanks for that info will give it a look into, but why would they not make 86mm pistons its weird or unles they thinking if your engine has a failure then you rebore the block to a slightly over size and run the 86.5mm which in fact it isnt from what ive been reading the clearance bore to piston it actually has to be less like 86.455 mm or something like that im reading and learning please dont flame me lol.
was wanting to go with tomei pistons 86.5mm with cooling channel some of the best pistons in the game .. i vote tomei

Mahle. They are really well designed and the heat expansion has very well been taken into consideration. They are rather light also. Made of 2618 alloys which makes them pretty resistant to knock. Thanks to their design, they can also be used with decent cylinder clearance.
Only drawback: oil squirters need to be modified/lowered.

id still say that JE is the best, if you would look at what the Supra guys use and make up to 2000 hp. Then i would say that they are more then enough for the average to big power RB26
and why isnt CP on that list ? i went with them since they dont cost very much and can handle 1200+whp

Question should really be who's the best piston designer as Wiseco/JE make a LOT of the well known slugs today.
For RB26 engines i have used Endyn who design them internally but have wiseco make them. Smart people over there...
