Where do people get there light bulbs from. More specifically, a headlight bulb.
As a last resort after searching everywhere i went to Nissan. They weren't much help but they finally managed to find what i was looking for, but of course, they didn't have it in stock and it was going to be £35!!!! I tried Powerbulbs, but they needed to know what 'H' number it was. Once again Nissan didn't know! Its the main beam headlight on a R32GTR. The middle of the three lights does anyone know its 'H' number? It's kinda urgent, as i can't drive at night at the moment. Any help would be much appreciated. Mike ![]()

What year is your GTR?
It will either be H1, H3C or H4 depending on the year. Take the bulb out as that will make looking for a replacement much easier But to my knowledge you can fit an H4 in all the BNR32 headlights so give it a go

Its a 1990 model. I've had the bulb out and showed it to the nissan parts 'specialists.' They reckoned it looked like an H7, but didn't have anything about to compare it with. Useless!!
Cheers DCD. I'll try the H4.

I phoned powerbulbs and described it to them.
It has two parrallel prongs on the bottom and about half way up there is a disc with grooves cut into it for seating in the housing. He reckons its a H3C, but its the same story as usual, they don't do them, and they're really hard to come by. Does anyone know of anywhere that sells them? Getting stuck now. Mike ![]()

My R32 uses H3C's for the bulb but you can buy normal H3 bulbs and make an adaptor, using a short lenth of wire, a female spade at one end and a male at the other.
Insert the one end in the bulb and earth the other on the headlight. H3 bulbs are only £4 from anywhere saves a bit of money in the long run. I can take photos of what I have done but not tonight coz it is too dark now. BTW the Nissan part number for the H3C bulb is 26293-C9901 (a cool £25 from my local dealer)
