U.K. Twin Drift Video
In this video I lost the round, but I don't care, it was the best fun and most dangerous time I've spent behind the wheel of a car

Please excuse my ignorance but what have I just watched
(apart from some cool car control)How is it determined who wins and who loses? How many rounds are there, how is it scored etc. etc. Sorry for the dumb questions but I don't know much about drifting as you can probably guess ![]()

Don't worry about it
that was the 1st competition of it's kind in the country so it's a bit new to us aswell..Basically, in this particular comp, it was 3 pairs of runs, where I went in front once, then he went in front (and we did that 3 times) it's best 2 out of 3.. The winner of each run was determined by either the one in front driving the perfect drift line, and creating a bigger gap from the car in the rear. Or the car at the back taking a perfect drift line and pressuring, or in some cases (where I missed a gear ) overtaking the car infront. It's about driver skill and to a certain extent how big your balls are you gain points for getting extremely close to the barriers or the car infront, and for massive entry speeds into the corners.. It's pretty much the same way that the comps in Japan are run ![]()

almost like figure-skating, but with cars on tarmac
![]() Takes some skill to drift properly. Takes even more to drift bumper to bumper with another car around a tiny circuit. ![]()
