I got my front camber correction kit from Demon Tweeks, which was before Abbey stocked them. I fitted them myself, which only took about an hour for both sides and had a 4-wheel alignement done at a local place. Cost me about £75 for the alignement and adjustments.

I'm shortly going to have to replace all four Eagle F1's (265/35 18) and am looking at Toyo T1-R or Falken 451 or new 452?. I'm a bit scared to loose the outstanding wet weather handling of the Eagle F1's for the sake of a few quid. On the other hand I am from Aberdeen!
My question is, has anyone had experience of going from Eagle F1's to either of the above and how did they compare? I know they are probably all good in their own right, but its really the wet weather thing i'm worried about.

according to MYTRES.net the Eagles are cheap than the toyo's...

I just assumed they would be cheaper. I will investigate further. Question still stands though. Anyone have first hand experience of changing from Eagle F1's to either of these? or indeed another tyre giving equal or improved wet weather grip.

...its probably not very helpful but I have just swapped fronts from Eagle F1's to Toyo T1-R's yesterday, £140 ea including fitting, and they were in stock (Falkens not in stock).

First impressions (in wet) are good, but very early days!

For the record, thought the F1's wear rate was terrible on the front...

You will probably find that they will take a few miles to bed-in and then the grip will be even better

There are many tyres out there....Im looking for...

251/40R18 currently Falkens...to soft for my lowered car...need rear ones urgently and fitted. Current ones are slick...and in this weather not happy driving them and illegal....so hurry with advice.

I want a harder wearing tyre until I get wheel alignment/set up sorted out..

Want them delivered and fitted where I live...there is an urgency to this and I don't want (if possible) to go and get fitted, due to personal reasons.

Goodyear F1 GSD3 for me, on my third set now, they may wear quick for some folk but if they didn't they wouldn't grip either!

Went from F1's to T1R's on an EVO 5 ...... instanty shite (technical term), felt like the roads were covered in gravel, even after 100's of miles no better.

2nd set of F1's seemed to take about 50 miles of abuse to regain the grip of the first set but the 3rd set gripped perfectly from the start??

F1's are one of the few tyres you can put on any car and notice an improvement, you can't really tell with most other tyres.

Hello in my opinion the best street tires are: The Bridgestone pontenza RE-01R and The Yokohama Advan Neova AD07. For Track days I use the Yokohama Advan A048 tyres but these tyres never be use on wet.

I'v just put Hankook sports on.
After about 400 miles running them in,they stick to the ground like glue!
255/40/17 £70-They are a steal.

@ first i really wanted these because they looked so aggressive, but then after reading all the reviews, i just had to have them. I have put a lot of miles on them and they holding up great!! I get great wet traction and dry traction - for street tires. Road noise is good, there are louder ones out there but then there are some that are also a lot quiter than these. I have used these for drag and had no complaints. Again, these are street tires, but for the price I cannot complain. Paid almost 900 USD incl. s/h. I also have a set of AO48's i am dying to use on the circuit, but there will be no comparison between the two.

These are the cheaper end of the range for falken. I'd go for the 451's

I had the Yokos before but the Goodyear F1's are a better all round weather tyre IMHO.
