I use Redline Heavy Shockproof in my R33 GTS-T box and VLSD and it seems to work well although I never actually used the gearbox pre-Redline so I don't know if its cured any previous problems
Only downside I've found (apart from the cost of the oil) is that in the winter it needs to warmup for a minute or so first thing otherwise its a bit tricky to get first gear and 9 times out of 10 you end up graunching from first to second when you first move off. It seems to be fine at this time of the year though.
If it was for road use only then the Redline Medium Shockproof oil might be a better bet to avoid the problems I mentioned.
