dream motor would probably be one with a hks step 3 rb28
Add a GT block, all the bottom end gear including nice expensive oil pump and dry sump setup. Plenty of headwork up top etc and a T04z strapped to the side

RB 30 with HKS 3037S turbos - simply stunning.

Hugh

Quick car - How much torque does the rb30 make over a 26?

Whats 0 - 100 time ?

Am thinking of a RB30 with 2530`s at 1,6 bar for fast road car.

Many thanks & Regards

Peter

Peter,

I am sorry I don't know what the zero to 100 time is, the timing was from the TOTB timing equipment.

2530's , GTRS, 2835 3037S they are all great and have used them all on my 3 litre set-up

My preferance is the current 3037S, nice to drive off boost and all you could wish for on boost.

Cheers

Hugh

I'd replace the RB with either a VQ strokled to 4.5 litre, or the nissan V8 and run a pair of T04z's... imagine the nightmare of engineering the sump!

If it had to say AWD - then there are AWD FX35's and G35 sedans. Thats not too huge of a deal.

The V-8 is a bit more difficult. Heres a few of playing with a VH45 attached to a 6 speed 350z tranny.

We have a guy over here in Oz has an R33 GTS fitted with the VH45 and a Vortec blower, looks almost factory (except for the blower!). thanks for the links

I love the RB26 but - I'd do something like that to be different, imagine a TT V8 GTR I'd even consider the lexus V8 seeing as we have guys over here running 1000hp on the stock bottom end :O

Start the flaming LOL
