Plug grade for stage one mods on GTR

Anyone know what grade of Iridium plug should be used on a GTR with stage one mods.

Induction kit
downpipes
sports cat
cat back exhaust
Boost controller

I think I will need to change my NGK's for a colder grade. But to what?

Cheers

Nik

Thanks for that, I thought it may well be an 8, but just needed some confirmation.

HKS are Denso's? Is a heat grade 8 HKS plug the same as a heat grade NGK plug?

Just been checking the net, I think NGK iridiums only go to a heat range 7 (the standard is a 6), so if I want an 8 (NGK scale), I guess I have to use denso's. Or am I missing someting here?

I hev been told that as arule of thumb, each incrase of 70-100bhp needs a grade cooler plug, so it may be that a 7 will be Ok?

from what i can see on this tech page..
http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/pages/technical/ngkjpg.htm

the standards are listed as bcpr6 plugs, but the BCP = BK. (14mm thread, 16mm hex, 19mm thread reach)

so you could get a BKR8EIX NGK plug in there.

Yup , NGK BKR8EIX or BKR9EIX

I recently got 6 BKR8EIX's for mine , cost £48 inc vat ( ill get some 9's soon for trackdays & 1/4 etc...)

Thats quite a difference to HKS / Greddy prices

I got them from my local BENNETTS motor factors, got them to call NGK , and they had them delivered next day.

He did say it was a "price to me" (i go there a lot) but it seems everyone says that nowadays , so dont take much notice of that.
