http://images.google.co.uk/images?q=...ff&sa=N&tab=wi There are videos of it somewhere, you NEED to hear it at idle and when revving it up at a standstill, ****in awesome sounding car. I wouldnt call the Scoot car ugly, but it is strange looking, ive deffo seen nicer RX7s |

I think to say it's "ugly" is missing the point... This is a one off car built entirely by Scoot's boss & chief mechanic - Hidekazu Koseki. It was the first 4 rotor road going RX-7 every built worldwide, as far as I know.
The inspiration for this car was the Mercedes SLR. Koseki San wanted a car that would be the rotary version of what an SLR might be. As nothing was available, he built it himself. The finish and fit of all parts is nothing short of amazing. As the 12A rotary engines are shorter than 13B's - he used these as the basis for his engine in order to keep the balance of the chassis as much as possible. Koseki was previously an ex F1 suspension engineer so you can bet this car handles very, very well! His latest project is a Defi gauge cluster with datalogging for an FD3S RX-7. It should be released onto the market in Japan around August - although he's been developing this since over a year ago. We saw the prototype when filming this 4 rotor in action for Fast East & Extreme. I totally admire this man's passion, ability and engineering ingeniuety demonstrated in his car - there's not that many people as capable, anywhere in the world. |

Great little gadget this. Don't like the separate remote but it's miles ahead of other data logging dash units (at least in design and looks)
![]() And saying this car is ugly is totally missing the point of it. If that's your opinion then you just don't get it |

You sure, I have seen photos of it and I am sure I saw snails??
If it has 750bhp, is NA and did a hardcore 24 hour race then it is even more amazing than I thought. Ant. |
