got a funny knocking noise

......though it's not making me laugh!!! It only happens when I pull onto my drive on full left lock, its like a double clunk coming from the front offside wheel. All the bushes appear to be solidly intact and there's no play in the front wheel bearings...so what the hell is it

Anyone got any ideas???

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the bolts on the steering rack were loose...

It only does it on lock, but now you mention it, the steering is a bit vague on the straight ahead.
