275/35/18 to 275/40/18 possible?

Hi,
My R33 GTR came with 18' wheels and 275/35/18 all round when I bought the car.
However now the car has lowered with slighlty deeper front lip spolier hence the result is the car's front bumper clearance to the ground is a fraction too low than I wanted.
I am just wondering if I change the tyres' profile from 35 to 40 , will the tyres rubbing wheel arches (splash guard) on full lock? currently I still have approx 20-30mm clearance from the arch with 35 profile setup.

After a good search around here , I do know most of owners have 35 profile setup on the 18s'.
Is there anyone using 275/40/18 setup here?

Cheers
