HICAS Unit

Hi All,

I am experiencing a wobbly ride when I boom my music in the back of my GTR33....

I took out the HICAS units and wrapped itt with foil paper...

Its still wobbling!!!!

Any Ideas on what to do now apart from relocating it?

I went to Wickes and they sell lead pallettes, weighing approx 15KG!!!!!

I would appreciate some responses...

Rich

Get Rid of HICAS.
Lock the rear rack or remove and install a removal kit.

IMO The cars better with out HICAS

On the R33, the system needs a Shim klit fitting, I got mine from RB Motorsport, this locks the Rack up so it cant move.

You can also Get Cusco ones, this is what I have fitted to the new car, it removes the rear rack completely

What type of battery are you using? Try replacing the small Japanese battery terminals and picking the biggest (Ah) battery you can find!!

I really belive this is related to the battery not having enough capacity to supply a "big" audio install. Another alternative would be to add a stiffening capacitor into the power supply of your audio install.

Let us know how you get on...
