Nissan BBS wheel size

Hi all,

I've checked my wheels on my r32 gtr and they are BBS Nissan 17x8 jobbies....on the inside of the wheel it says 17x8JJ30. does this mean they are a 30 offset..I thought the r32 offset was 22 ? Confused now

Cheers

Standard wheels on GTRs are +30 offset.
Most aftermarket wheels have lower offsets to push the wheels out for looks, larger track and to avoid hitting the inner side of the wheel on the suspension.

Hmm ok thanks for that

reckon i could get away with a 18x8 +36 on the front and a 18x9 +37 on the rear then ? (all with 245/40s)

Cheers

18 x 9 +20et all round would be far more like it

The specs you gave would more suit a GTS

Question

So, 8J on the front and 9J on the rear, but all with 245's? Why?

Why not 9J's and 245 all round?
