quick post as it's late and we only finished sorting some further details tonight, but we are pleased to announce that the four cars we are taking over from the UK to compete in the first ever TOTB Arabia are ;
Tim Webster- R34 NUR
Adrian Smith- Fensport Corrolla
Mick Begley- Jun Lemon
Ron Kidell- RK Tuning R32 GTR
many thanks to the above (and Abbey Motorsport also) for agreeing to sort their cars at this time of year and at short notice, and to the other guys who expressed an interest in competing, its been difficult to pick just 4 cars.
we think its a fairly strong selection to take over for the first time of this event. We also think they do represent good all-round road cars. For future events we aim to take over 10 or so top UK road cars, including rwd/fwd examples where possible.
We'd also like to state that Rocket Ronnie and Keith Cowie were the first to be asked along, unfortunately cars were not ready at this time. Ronnie is attending and Tim W has generously offered him a drive in the NUR.
