PPG launch 6-speed sequential system R32 R33, GT-Rs, GTS-T and GT-T

We are pleased to announce the launch of our brand new 6-speed sequential system for R32 and R33 Nissan Skyline GT-Rs, including the GTS-T and GT-T models, manufactured between 1989 and 2002.
Designed to directly replace the internal workings of the standard gearbox and utilising the original OE casings, the upgrade package features PPG's unique helical dog tooth profile. It includes a motorsport-derived barrel sequential selection system incorporating a Gill Blade 360º ;non-contact rotary gear position sensor for accurate indication.

Activated by a billet shift lever, an integrated load cell allows a flat up-shift and a throttle-blip downshift, all of which results in lightening-fast, positive and effortless shifts every time.
Specifications and features:

Gill Blade 360° non-contact rotary position sensor
Converts 5-speed H-pattern to 6-speed sequential shift
Aerospace grade shot-peened steel billet shift forks and gears
Precision engineered helical-dog tooth profile
Fast, positive and effortless shifting
Power rated to 1000hp+
Large 26-spline billet input shaft
Integrated load cell for flat up-shifts, throttle-blip down-shifts
Strength, durability and reliability
Billet aluminium sandwich plate
Gear ratios: 2.706 / 1.894 / 1.471 / 1.184 / 1.000 / 0.812

I spoke to the guy at PPG at World Time Attack a couple of years ago and I asked him why they didn't make a GTR box, he said "doesn't everyone just buy Holingers?" I said not everyone can afford them.....make a cheaper box and use the OE case to save money.....
BOOM!

This is going to be huge if the price is right .
I would love to have a affordable r35 type of paddle shifters in my r33 gtr.

PPG: How does this handles in the city and traffics?

Surely no point? Just reverse swap props, etc, as per 32/33 Getrag conversion?

What is needed is some customer demo cars to test it out

As stated earlier, a decent price on this and they would sell like hotcakes.
