AFM
Just some quick questions, (I know this has been asked before, but carnt find a tread) my r33 gtst afm makes at 300bhp? what does a gtr afm make out at? if its 400bhp would this be a sutible replacment? as im going to be running nearly 400bhp.

z32 AFM is what you need - the GTR has two AFM's that individually are smaller that the GTS one.
an alternative is to go for a MAF-less ECU - may give you more scope in the long run. SImon

the wiring is not the same, but you can either buy one with a Z32 plug with some wire attached and join the wires together or you can cut the standard connector off and put spade connectors on the end, then tape it up so it's watertight. It's best if you can buy one with the connector and some wire. Check out eBay, some of them come with wire and connector.
Price for a new one from a main dealer is I believe around the £400 mark..... I'd recomend looking for a second hand one unless you really really want a new one. Going price seems to be £100-£150 second hand |
