Anyone here know anything about Modeo Diesels?

My Tddi Mondy died last night, fuel starvation. Is fuel pump failure common on these cars ?

Fuel pump failure is usually a good sign of running on green diesel (farmer stuff). The green stuff does not have the same self lub properties of red and causes the death of a pump.

Tractor diesel is red, and is the same apart from the dye. I believe the low sulphur "eco fuel" is the sh^t that causes premature weaar rates. Anyway, it was the fuel lift pump that was banjaxed, clouted it with some polygrips and it went again. Two hours stranded and getting lifts to work and all it needed was a wallop !!! Buying new lift pump in the morning however. Thanks for the tips guys.
