Oddball plenum
Just realised today looking at my plenum, it has a welded metal peice with a washer and bold on each of the 6 branches that connect to the TB's
I never realised this until today, and looking at some other GTR's they dont have them... what is the purpose of this???? can anyone help>? |

Definitely either direct port nitrous kit, or six more injectors
Try and find any more tell-tale signs of nos - any holes drilled for a bottle mount in the boot? Evidence of a trigger switch within reach of the driver? Its sound though mate, as long as you have no idle problems. If you do, use some PTFE tape to seal those bolts in ![]() |

no tell tale signs of NOS at all on the car, no drilled holes etc I know the car did have a roll cage though
![]() hmm if it was NOS with the owner in japan, no wonder my clutch is dead.. do you seriously want to exchange the plenum? im up for it...![]() If they had used NOS would they have used bronze guides? do these look like bronze ones? ![]() Last edited by GTR-Zilla; 1st August 2005 at 07:07 PM. |

Dont look to me like injector ports at all, not in the slightest, no provision for a rail, not aimed towards the inlet ports, and are threaded bosses...
Looks like perfect fit for 6x nitrous fogger jets tho... |
