Big single turbo is a bit lagging compare to twin turbo, What type of big turbo u r looking for? Greddy T78, T88, HKS T51kai, T51R? Hw about the twin turbo that u r looking for? Twin TD05, Twin TD06, twin GT25430 , GT2540...etc? How much hp do u want?

nagasan- Go on, explain why 1 big one is NOTICABLY laggier than 2 smaller ones that give equal power handling and are equally modern (ie not a pair of HKS GTs versus some old Greddy Truck Turbo).
To me the difference is negligable and usually totally offset by poor (or wildly OTT) cam/head/ex housing a/r specs anyhow) Single also cuts down on cost and maintainance too (less to break and less complex) Anyhow there 100s of these arguments in the past if you use the SEARCH function, so lets not go there again. C8HEP- Exactly what T62 is that? As T62 is very vague designation, and someone else asked me about a Garrett based T62 earlier in the week... Generally though Garrett based T62s are good for around 550-600bhp, maybe bit less, maybe bit more, depending on a/r's etc, but dont mean this exact one is any good at all, could well be an old truck turbo for all i know at mo. |
