R33 GTR Stock Solenoid Plumbing....

Can anyone confirm which outputs/inputs on the stock GTR boost solenoid goes where? Which one goes to the inlet manifold?

Well I think I have anyway!

Here's a couple of pics. The blue tube goes to the inlet manifold and the black one goes off under the engine. Are they connected to the solenoid the right way round?
And should either of them have a restrictor in - if so what would be the case if its not there?

Cheers
Neil

yeah it does look right and if i remember correctly the restrictor is in the black pipe, it should have a yellow band on it about 2" down.

Cheers Robin, I'll check that out too

Paul, I have to say, I've removed my Blitz SBC-ID which was running around 0.9-0.94 bar held and it was MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH faster than it is now, so I assume the restrictor must be in place!

Either way chaps - cheers for that, puts my mind at rest!

well if the restrictor isnt there and youre not running a boost controller then that isnt very safe, i 'think' because it makes the maximum boost over a bar but not solid so it spikes at higher rates.

From driving it, its not coming close to the boost I had with the controller that had peaks of a smidgen over 1 bar with held at around 0.94........

Gonna check tomorrow anyway!
