Andy,
I wouln't presume any size. There is a tag on the centre bearing housing on most turbos that will identify them correctly. It can be hard to see on low mount turbos. Are these top mount? Any pics? I would be concerned how long ago the engine was built and how much work it has done. Take a close look at the oil pressure when it is being driven and note the RPM you get max pressure when it is hot and also what pressure you have at idle. It may have a high volume oil pump that can make a worn engine look good, but they usually have higher overall pressure. Cheers Hugh |

Hugh, its the one Calder have in just now mate. Pics and spec on the site. Its a bit rough around the edges but the price would mean i would have around a grand left so i could tinker with it to my own spec.
Any feedback would be greatly welcomed. Andy. |

The Trust T517Z is a TD05 mitsubishi turbo, with competition wheel used by the rally teams on early evo's. It's just been reworked by Trust to fit a Skyline
Jay-R32 has the same turbo's and his car is running 537 at the hubs I think with hopefully more to come I can post a Dyno graph of mine at 1 bar if you want mate. Mine don't hit full boost until around 4700rpm, I think having the cat still is strangling the performance quite a lot, but they pull very strong to the redline if I knew where it was Jay's car also performs very well with these turbo's at 1.4 bar boost. His spools up quicker than mine though, bigger exhaust etc.Hope this helps Cheers John |
