Dodgy boost controller plumbing?

Went out last night for a blast and the readings on my boost controller said it boosted upto 1.3 bar which was great as it was lets just say fairly fast but its running R34 turbos so only good for 1.15 bar

So i have been investigating and it looks like the previous owner has installed the boost controller but not disconnected the OEM one so could this be letting the boost go to what ever the wastegates are set to in this case probably 1.3 bar? or am a barking up the wrong tree

If it is can i just unplug the OEM one and the apexi will start to control the boost?
