Newbie and Exhaust Question

Hi everyone,

Picked up my R34 back in December and haven't got around to posting yet!

Only things I have done so far are removing the Japanese headhunt etc. that doesn't stop talking to you in Japanese for a Pioneer F77-DAB and changing the tail lights for East Bear LED ones.

The car currently has an Amuse R1 titanium exhaust on it and its far too quiet! It's a nice system I'd just like to hear the exhaust a lot more!

What are the loudest possible exhaust options that aren't straight pipes? What do you guys normally use that are very loud?

Many thanks,
Alex

i was at RK when you picked up this car.

are you sure this is an R1 exhaust sytsem (amuse) it does not sound like or look like an Amuse system.

amuse systems do not have a cat for instance, and would sound far louder than it did on tick over, plus i also drove past you on the A127, and it does not sound like an amuse

blitz nur is ok, but its not great quality exhaust really.

Tomei is good quality and Ti system, so light.

Mines is very very nice, ti system but not much louder than what you have.

ideally you want something like a Trust system (discontinued), Amuse system

amuse is below

I'm not sure mine is an Amuse, that's just what I was told.

Where can you get exhausts from in the UK? I'm still learning the best places to get Skyline parts!

Amuse system is 1 piece & made to order by powerhouse

If you want we can ship any exhaust from Japan

I don't think the exhaust you have is amuse

Do you run a cat ?

There is what looks potentially like a cat in these pics, I haven't had a proper look under myself.

Ideally most of the silencing needs to go including the cat.

Do you have an idea what system it might be?

Hi Alex,
Mine has the Trust titanium exhaust on it and I love it, it sounds way too loud for some but for me it's perfect.

Thanks for the help guys.

Had a look on RHD Japan and they seem to have Amuse, Tomei, Blitz, APEXi and Kakimot as well as the HKS I have.

Any idea where to get a Trust from now they are discontinued?

Is the Trust the loudest?

I run a Kakimoto GT1 oz, very loud, amazing sounding exhaust and good quality. I was choosing between that and the Tomei, went for the Kaki because the rest of my system was stainless and it would of niggled at me not having a titanium downpipe to go with the tomei.

And great looking car, that looks really clean!

Thanks

I think I'm going to go for the Tomei.

Also does anyone know where to get boot struts from? Mine don't work at all!

I've got a blitz nur spec and I think it sounds pretty awesome, especially when you open the car up!

Get one custom made...for a little more, you can have a decent stainless system made and have it as loud as you can want!!
