Stupid questions from a new owner of a skyline:
Is it possible for me to just repalcethe turbo and ECU instead of the whole kit to achieve 350 BHP? If so, what size of intercooler should I go for? Is there like any tuning package available for skylines as well as rc does for their evos? Thanks for help. |

What do you mean by the whole kit? You wont flow enough air or fuel. You will most certainly need to throw in uprated afm and injectors.
If you are on gts-t clutch it probably wont cope either. |

yeah I were told by RBM that I'd need bigger injectors, fmic or uprated uwic and the hybrid turbo to get the most from it.
I'm in the process of looking for an upgrade turbo myself but not having much luck as I really dont know what to look for ![]() I've got a spare Hitachi unit with a busted exhaust shaft blade thingymabob (prev. owner fitted and upped the boost to 1.5bar or something silly... kapow! ..shaft straight thru his block). Anyhow other than that its brand new but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it turned into a hybrid as easily as a garrett unit :/ got me pfc in so once that little lot is fitted I can always get a remap to get the best from the mods |
