Instead of current age, how old were you when you bought your first Skyline?

I ordered my 01 R34 V-spec II when I was 24.

I ordered my 02 R34 V-spec II Nur when I was 25.

Now I am 26. Time goes by so fast, I need to hurry and modify my car so I can enjoy the big power before I get too old.

Jeff

I just turned 19 when I bought my first skyline in 97'. It was a 88' R31 GT. I still have it to this day along with my 95' R33 GT-R!

Hate to think how much your insurance premium is.
Could probably buy a R32 GTR every year with it.
Still, if you can afford it go for it. It's a GTR !!!

cheers

NISMO23,

I assume you bought your R31 when you are living somewhere other the the U.S.?

So you have your R31 GT in Chicago with you now? It is cool enough to have R32/33/34 in the US, it must be way special to have a R31 here.

Yes, I bought my R31 and my R33 while being stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Sadly, I will have to let go of the old R31 soon since I will be leaving Japan soon.

I guess it would be special to have an old R31 skyline in the U.S. It is one hell of a reliabe car! If I had a choice, I would bring them both back with me. At least I am able to bring the GT-R. Unfortunatly, I will probably sell it because it may be too much of a financial burden.

At least I am able to say I am responsible for bringing one of these incredible beasts into the U.S.!

Impreza at 22, Skyline GTR at 23. I'm 24 now, and debating whther to tune the '33 lots or get a 34 instead.

I was....

I was three weeks away from being 26 when I finally got my hands on my R33 GTS, I am now 29 and am thinking if I can realistically afford a GT-R, not looking good at the moment, but I am trying ! I can get one if I go out and another loan, my heart tells me to do it but my head is being too sensible !!
Also, it would mean me selling what probably is, one of, if not the very best condition standard R33's (GTS wise anyway) here in the UK, I mean, who would want to take that off of my hands ?!?!?!

Shaun.

I bought my first R33 at the age of 23, and within 6 months ordered my UK R33 new from MM - Probably would have been worthwile waiting 2 weeks till they launched the UK R34!

Save the Mk2 RS2000, never owned (as my own car, excl company cars) that wasn't a turbo! 1st Cossie @ 19, 2nd @ 20, Escort Cossie @ 21, Evo5 @ 23 and bought the R33 7 months ago, just 2 months after I turned 27.

Just know the next car's goin to be a let down...

(Need to be a R34 or R35 then Hey Hey )
