fitting gauges

hey guys any one help me!!!

im fitting a boost gauge and oil temp gauge to a gts,

where is the easiest place to feed them in from the interior to the engine bay??

hi mate. jack the drivers front up, then remove wheel, remove back half of wheel arch liner and you will see a big rubber grommet where all the wires from the engine bay go inside the car, use this to route your cables through. as for gauges not sure on the gts but you will need to find a thin pipe that comes from the plenum, this is boost, just t-piece in that. oil temp is a different matter and tricky. if you are running a cooler then you will need to take the feed from the return pipe to the block to get a reading, depending on the pipe you can buy a fitting from demon tweeks that inserts into pipework for the adapter to fit in. if no cooler then i think you may need to buy a sandwich plate. this fits between the oil filter and block and has a thread in it for the gauge adapter. hope this helps.
