Crankshaft position sensor for Skyline R34 GTT

Hi,

How much does it cost to buy a new Crankshaft position sensor for a R34 GTT and what does a Crankshaft position sensor do?

Thanks.

It actually senses the cam postition. As the cam is geared at 1/2 engine revs then it can tell the ecu exactly where the piston on each cylinder is in relation to the combustion cycle - ideal for sequential injection and non-wasted spark engines. And they're expensive.
