Trust sump extension...clearence problem's??

Just about to undertake a Trust sump extension. Had the car on the ramp today , looking at the original sump it appear's that the Trust sump comes maybe 2-3'' (maybe an 1-2''below the subframe....guessing though!!) below this level getting a bit concerned about speed bumps and coming down heavy on the springs. My car is sensibly lowered and at the moment hav'nt heard any grounding at all. Anyone out there with this mod who can put my mind at rest?

You need to be careful if the car is low. I split the Trust sump open on my car on a raised manhole cover.
