Nexen tyres
Just wondering if anybody has heard of or used nexen N2000 tyres?
I have a set on my standard gtr wheels and want to know if they're any good for the track if not then i reckon i might have to get some toyo r888's, unless there are any better? Thanks |

Hi,
I'm using Nexen's on my R33 GTS-T been on for about a month now, I think they are 3000's though, can't check as it is garaged away from home. For a budget tyre they are superb, in fact I'd just say they are good, due to the weather I have not been pushing it, I can say though that the rear lights up less in the wet than it did with falkens.... I like them. Andy. |

Hello there, I have N3000's on the back of my R32 GTR 245/45/17's, IMHO I think they are absolute bollox
, in the wet anyway, they let go at even mild use of throttle . In the dry they are not too bad for a budget tyre, quite predictable, not too bad for the money I suppose. Looking forward to wiping them out to get some decent rubber on. . www.mytyres.co.uk are doing Pirelli P-Zero's for about a ton, I would rather pay the extra........ |

I was just checking because these are on my spare set of wheels and im gonna use them just for track days.
difficult choice really, have some budget ones on which dont hold in the wet or get some semi slicks which also arent very good in the wet but awesome in the dry. ![]() |
