thanks for the reply mate.
The TopRPM guys know already,so this must be big news down there already.

Are there going to be supercars down there,like the link i posted from a S2K fourm showing an Enzo,Carrera GT,SLR drag racing down the strip?

Also,when are the people from the UK going?
I've looked into tickets already,if i do go,then i'm going to book my ticket to leave on the 18th,and come back on the 22nd of Jan.

i looked on the emirates (spelling) website,and the a return ticket from the 18th till the 22nd was £501,from Birmingham Airport.

Going to look on some last minute deal websites,and see how much they can be there,did get a price for £280,but think that was something else

Got a ticket price of £371 direct with Emirates,that was direct to dubai.

Another option,is to fly to abu dhabi,the UAE's capital,the ticket price was £284,but this was indirect.

Abu Dhabi to Dubai is only 1hr away by taxi guys so either airport would do

All the above cars are owned by the Sheikh who also owns the Motorplex so there is a good chance

news update- event date
due to a few technical issues we have had to move the event date back a fortnight to Friday 3rd Feb 2006.
All 4 cars are now in transit and preparations in place for a parade thro Dubai for the cars prior to the event!
