Garrett T04 - AR60
Just wondering what the efficient bhp one of these should be run at?
I know AR stands for Air Ratio level, but what does the 60 signify? Any info on how to find more out about this tubby would be appreciated. Cheers ![]() |

AR 60 means v.v.v.v.little.
Is it .60 a/r then? Where? Compressor or Turbine side? Means a lot less on the compressor side. What wheel sizes? What make? Whats it off? Without some proper info it could be anything. There are T4 framed turbos rated from under 400bhp to over 1000bhp. |

Had one of these on mine but took it of due to lag didnt start to spool till about 4500 but was like a rocket when it took off.
took it off due to lack of pennies and fear of cabbaging the engine good for 2.5+ |

Here is some great reading.....
http://www.forcedinductions.com/help.htm and http://www.forcedinductions.com/helpadvanced.htm Also e-mail them and you can get a consumption chart so you can plot your engine out versus the compressor maps. Works great and helps looks at when boost will come in and at what rpm. |
